Congrats to the first student from our group to graduate from the PhD program in Applied Science & Technology, Rene Claus!
Rene worked on phase retrieval for EUV and microscopy applications, particularly in semiconductor mask inspection, and was co-advised by Prof. Andy Neureuther and Dr. Patrick Naulleau from LBNL. He will go on to an exciting new job at TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company). Nice work, Rene!
